Painting has been a part of my life ever since I was a young girl. The abstract expressionist style has allowed my imagination to carve it’s own path. It has allowed me to express my emotions whenever I enter a place, go on a trip, or meet someone.

The shades and hues that used to bring colors to my life suddenly turned somber on march 30th, 2013 when my daughter Claire, 17, lost a long and hard fought battle to her sickness.

Our relationship was one of a king; we shared the same joy for life, the same enthusiasm, the same energy. Today, she would want me to get up again and use these same shades and hues to cry out the world how important it is to live life to the fullest, with what passion and talent we have left.

Before, painting allowed me to escape this world, but today it helps me survive in it…..
Whenever I sit in front of a canvas, time no longer exists, and I simply allow the colors of my life to work their magic …
